When We Stand Together- Nickelback. 6x6 Oil on Gessobord. The challenge on Daily Paintworks this week is weird or irregular shadows. I thought of this immediately! My friend Susan had seen these beautiful poppies at a home in Williston, North Dakota. We stopped and asked permission to take a few photos of her beautiful flowers. She was very eager to stop and chat; and even show us her beautiful garden beyond the fence.

Sultans of Swing- Dire Straits. 20x20 Canvas. The challenge this week is something related to school starting. I saw this image on the morge file and loved the shadows. Not as easy as I thought it would be! Yikes, it never is:) Anywhoo, I am very happy with the results.

Canon Rock- Jerry C..24x12 Wrapped Gallery Canvas. I have been painting a lot, just have not been posting! The inspiration for this painting was a trip to Cannon Beach , Oregon last year in October. I wanted to go to the beach so bad to get my ocean fix we convinced our relatives to go with us. It was cold and foggy and I totally loved it!
