Day 6 of the 30 in 30 paintings. Black Necked Stilt. Shore Bird. 8x8 Oil on Gessobord. This is another fabulous photo by Donna Ridgway for the Photos for Artists page. I loved the colors of the water on this one. It really does have stilts; after gurgling them I see that at least half his legs are underwater! Interesting bird.
