The Grand Illusion- Styx. 8x8 Oil on gessobord. This weeks challenge on Daily Paintworks is a mini Monet. Yay! One of my favorites, so I was all in for this one! The challenge is to create "the illusion of an endless whole, of water without horizon or bank." The water and the reflective sky become one. Thanks Ann Nemcosky for the photo and the challenge!
