Bluebonnets- Aaron Watson

Bluebonnets- Aaron Watson. 8x8 Oil on gessobord.
Painted for the challenge this week to use a variety of brushes. I used about 6. A couple of flats, a round, a liner and even my palette knife. Good exercise. This is not even close to what I had envisioned when I started. I was thinking more of a mass of blue...a more abstract looking one. I like this one, but will probably try the abstract one next!
I found this song and it goes so perfectly I had to use it. Bluebonnets do fade have to be on the ball to drive the back roads to see them!...and they ARE en masse!
